Dan Bowles Living in NYC for a number of years and also a horse breeder, I found myself at the barns on a regular basis. The horses were well taken care of and loved by their drivers! I knew what to look for and found no mistreatment. Electric "vintage" cars? Sounds more like Disneyland than NYC.
Stephen Hoffman We let them tear down Penn Station 40 years ago. Don't let them take away our horses! I walk across the park every day from Columbus Circle to Hunter College. I love the horses, I love the pace, I love the smell.
Roxanne Brewer I just donated to help stop the Corrupt NYC Mayor Bill deBlasio ban the NY Carriage Horses. You should too. This is not about the horses it about the stable land he promised to a donor in his election to get him elected! Don't let this happen!
Janet Ross Let's get the Budweiser Clydesdales involved. Working horses of the world unite.I have contacted Budweiser and they have sent info on how to proceed. Please give me an email address so I can forward.
Carolyn Zuzworsky This donation was made possible by the power of Facebook and etsy!!! I will continue making horse themed wallets and selling them as much as I possibly can!! Thank you to Mary Oliver, Bonnie Ciesluk & Karen Keirstead who were so kind to support my idea and buy them!!!
Jean Harrison Please stop micromanaging our lives. Traditions are a good thing, and save the ones that do no harm, but bring pleasure. Especially in NYC.
greg Sherry Me and my girlfriend always take a carriage ride when we make our Christmas visit.Well worth the money. What's next a fake tree at Rockefeller Center. Trees have feelings you know. Keep up the fight.
Edward Schwartz This Mayor is so full of it. How dare he try and stop a 150 year old tradition. All he wants to do is hand over the property where the horses are housed to his friends. He claims to be a Mayor of the people, but he is a Mayor for himself.
sharon roark-chesser Horses are a wonderful, majestic, strong part of American history and the way the New York Carriage Co. has kept a part of history alive is wonderful and should NOT be threatened by political bullies!!!
Terry Taylor The Mayor needs to realize that this is the United States of America, not some dictatorship where people will bow down to his pompous agendas. Keep up the good fight!
Dianne Mullikin Long live the Carriage Horse Industry! I am so looking forward to enjoying a ride through Central Park the next time I go to NYC. Good Luck!
