About the Cause

In 2012, Richard was elected to the serve in the Hawai'i State House of Representatives District 47. Richard is a voice for rural communities, advocating for improvement to aging facilities in the Kahuku and Waialua school complexes, including funds to restore bleachers at Kahuku Intermediate and High School's field. He also worked with the Department of Transportation to implement a pilot program to ease the decade-long traffic problem along Laniakea Beach.
