About the Cause

I founded the Middle East Research Center, Ltd.in 1985 after 7 years in Israel as an environmental consultant. While there I realized that most Americans don't understand Israel's security situatiion or its relevance to US security.

For over 25 years now, MERCL has engaged in educating and mobilizing US lawmakers and citizens to endorse sound laws and policies to support the security of Israel and the US.

We are a 501 (c) (3) educational and research non-profit concentrating on Middle East issues.
