About the Cause

Cine Las Americas is a multicultural, non-profit organization based in Austin, Texas.

The mission of Cine Las Americas is to promote cross-cultural understanding and growth by educating, entertaining and challenging the diverse Central Texas community through film and media arts.

Cine Las Americas' programming activities are the exhibition and promotion of Latino and indigenous film and video, and the implementation of bilingual media arts education programs for minority youth in Austin.
