About the Cause

Al McAffrey has spent a lifetime serving others and working to better the lives of those around him. The son of a Baptist minister, Al grew up a proud citizen of Choctaw Nation in Sulphur, Oklahoma. The values he learned as a child taught him the importance of public service. After high school, Al enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served as a Navy Corpsman. When he returned to Oklahoma, Al joined the Oklahoma City Police Department and later went on to own and operate several successful small businesses.
