    1. Mariette Landwehr My husband flew a DC3 into Normandy on 6/6/44, dropping paratroops and towing gliders. He is now 93 and ill, but he revisited Normandy on the 50th anniversary. We are grateful to the veterans who participated in the Washington event this year.
